Precast Light Pole Bases Used at Hotel in St. Augustine, Florida

At a new hotel in downtown St. Augustine, Truemont Materials supplied custom precast light pole bases for a parking lot lighting project. In this video, Jared Dill, Outside Sales Representative for Truemont Materials, walks through how the project team used 20 made-to-order pole bases, each measuring 24 inches in diameter and 9 feet tall, to meet the site’s specific lighting and installation requirements.

Each base was manufactured with a 36-inch height above grade, an 11-inch bolt circle, and four 1-inch conduit penetrations positioned at 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°, offering complete flexibility to customize conduit layout, dimensions, and hardware as needed. Jared explains that Truemont’s precast light pole bases are built to match the exact needs of the pole and site, eliminating the need for field modifications and saving site lighting contractors serious time during installation.

For projects requiring site lighting engineering, Truemont coordinates signed and sealed drawings through a licensed engineering partner. The process is fast and straightforward, with drawings typically completed in about one week, allowing teams to move quickly through approvals and keep projects on schedule. From design coordination through delivery, the goal is to simplify the process and provide a dependable precast solution that works for contractors, engineers, and owners alike.
